Named after Cape Town’s ancient Treaty Tree, a milkwood still standing in Woodstock. In 1806 a peace treaty was signed beneath its branches after the Battle of Blaauwberg. Blended to be layered and complex yet very drinkable, with food in mind. This wine is vegan: no animal products are used in making it.

Flagstone was founded by winemaker Bruce Jack, who sources grapes from carefully chosen vineyards across the Cape. Each wine is named after a story from South Africa’s people, places and history. Led today by head winemaker Gerhard Swart, Flagstone was named Prescient Winery of the Year 2024 by Winemag.co.za.
