The idea

In French, carte blanche means complete freedom.

Load your card once, then pour from our Enomatic dispensers glass by glass: a crisp white, a bold red, something you have never heard of. No commitment to a bottle.

How it works

  1. Join onlineKES 6,000: KES 1,000 for your card and KES 5,000 of wine credit.
  2. We make your cardPrinted with your name and number, credit loaded, within 48–72 hours. We email you when it is ready.
  3. Collect and pourPick it up at The Wine Shop, Loresho. Each glass is deducted as you pour.
  4. Top up onlineAny time, from your account. Loaded on your next visit.

Questions

How long until I get my card?

We print your personal card and load your credit within 48 to 72 hours of joining, then email you to collect it at The Wine Shop, Loresho.

How do I check my balance?

Your remaining credit shows on the dispenser screen each time your card is inserted.

How do I top up?

Online only, from My Carte Blanche. The minimum is KES 5,000. Your credit is loaded onto your card on your next visit.

Does my credit expire?

No. Your credit stays on your card until you use it.

What if I lose my card?

Report it straight away and we will disable its QR code. Credit on a lost card cannot be recovered. A replacement card costs KES 1,000.

Can I use my credit for bottles or food?

Carte blanche credit is for the wine dispensers only.

Why only 350 members?

So members' evenings stay small and everyone is known by name. When the club is full, you can join the waitlist.

Terms

Not for sale to persons under 18. Please enjoy responsibly. ID may be requested. The KES 1,000 card fee is one-time and non-refundable. Top-ups are made online only, minimum KES 5,000. Credit does not expire, is non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash and is for the wine dispensers only. The card belongs to its member; if it is lost, please report it. Credit on a lost card cannot be recovered. Membership is limited to 350. The Wine Shop may update these terms.
