Named Léobourg since the 1900s, after “les Hauts Bourgs” (the high villages). A rigorous selection, three weeks’ maceration and a light French oak ageing give a supple wine with real Médoc character.

About the Producer
Barton & Guestier is the oldest wine house in Bordeaux, founded in 1725 when Irishman Thomas Barton set up as a wine merchant; Daniel Guestier joined the business in 1802. Based today at Château Magnol in Blanquefort, B&G works with growers across France’s classic regions and was named European Winery of the Year in Wine Enthusiast’s 2024 Wine Star Awards.
