This Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from our very own Woolshed Vineyard in Marlborough’s upper Wairau Valley, The vineyard was established in 2002 on a combination of gentle clay based hillside slopes and alluvial flats that along with Marlborough’s warm days and cool nights, are perfect conditions for making exceptional Sauvignon Blanc. An elegant, textured wine which is characterised by mouth watering tropical fruit and a long quenching finish. Cellaring: Up to 8 Years.

Food Pairing: Grilled Fish, Salmon, Sushi & Fresh Salads. Also, delicious on its own!

Vendaval Sauvignon Blanc

100% Sauvignon Blanc Central Valley March 2019 Destemmed and crushed grapes were gently pressed under an inert gas atmosphere. The wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled tempera-ture of 14°- 15°C. Once the fermentation process was completed the wine was maintained in contact with the lees for 8 days in order to increase its volume and creaminess.

Zonnebloem Sauvignon Blanc

The grapes for this wine, were sourced from trellised (100%) vines in the Stellenbosch area. Situated at altitudes ranging between: 100m to 500m above sea level, these vines grow mainly in deep reed soils with some sandy loam on south-facing vineyard slopes. The grapes, were harvested by hand from the beginning to the end of February.

Tasting Profile: Aromas of fresh limes, grapefruit, passion fruit and green figs, all layered in between crisp notes of green aromatics. On the palate enjoy, intense flavours with a defined structure and flavours – that mature, into tropical nuances of guava, green figs and passion fruit. Crisp acidut, and apple flesh texture outlines the backbone of the wine, whilst also enhancing its lingering finish!

Food Pairing: Excellent enjoyed on its own (well-chilled!) or, with fresh herb salads, white meat dishes – such as chicken risotto or shrimp alfredo.
