Made from non-irrigated bush vines on some of the Swartland’s highest ground, rooted in deep red soils that hold water well and ripen the fruit fully in dry conditions. Aged in 225-litre oak barrels, mostly American with some French.

Flagstone was founded by winemaker Bruce Jack, who sources grapes from carefully chosen vineyards across the Cape. Each wine is named after a story from South Africa’s people, places and history. Led today by head winemaker Gerhard Swart, Flagstone was named Prescient Winery of the Year 2024 by Winemag.co.za.
