Tasting Profile: Structured, with fine tannins and red fruit aromas carrying through to the finish. Notes of raspberry and blackcurrant. The palate is full and concentrated, tannins are extremely velvety and the wood ageing – gives an exceptional roundness.

Food Pairing: Fillet of beef, roasted saddle of lamb with fresh herbs, chicken breast stuffed with black mushrooms, strong cheeses, spicy dishes, dark chocolate-based dessert.

Serving: Serve at 16–18°C; in warm weather, 20 minutes in the fridge before pouring gets it there.

Heritage No. 293 highlights Barton & Guestier’s know-how in the search of rare wines, on exceptional soils. This Cru is our last jewel, unearthed on the Duche d’uses Appellation, a unique vineyard located at the junction of the: Languedoc the Rhone and the Cevennes.

The production has been limited to: 12,000 bottles. This wine, represents the perfect balance between the warmth of the spices and the delicacy of the fruits.
