The grapes for this wine, were harvested by: hand. After malolactic fermentation, the wines were left on the lees – and next matured, in: 300-liter barrels consisting of a combination of: new French oak and second-and-third fill French Oak barrels; for a period of: 12 months
On the palate, this wine is elegant, succulent, robust dry red which explodes on the palate, with flavours of: plum, blackcurrant and cherry! A well-structured wine, with a long-lasting-finish! But! With firm, and supple tannins.
Aromas of: blueberries, blackcurrant and cherry! Supported by: Oak and Cedar, which carry through to the palate

The Neethlingshof Estate in Stellenbosch, takes its name from its 19th century owner. A member of the ‘Biodiversity & Wine Initiative, acknowledged for its protection of indigenous habitat, the 378 ha winery has set aside 127 ha for conservation. The winery cultivates both red and wine varietals; with the bias marginally in favour of whites.
