The Neethlingshof Estate in Stellenbosch, takes its name from its 19th century owner. A member of the ‘Biodiversity & Wine Initiative, acknowledged for its protection of indigenous habitat, the 378 ha winery has set aside 127 ha for conservation. The winery cultivates both red and wine varietals with the bias marginally in favour of whites.

Neethlingshof Gewürztraminer is a white wine.
Tasting Profile: A delightfully fragrant nose of rose petals and jasmine, followed through by an off dry spicy palate with traces of Turkish delight. Off-dry with a zesty finish. These grapes were harvested by hand, fermentation has taken place in stainless steel tanks. Country: South Africa Region: Stellenbosch ABV: 13% vol Suggested Food Pairings: An ideal companion to fish pates, and lightly spiced Asian/Indian dishes. It also worked extremely well with fruity desserts or on its own on a hot day!
