Neethlingshof Short Story Collection – The Six Flowers

4,295 KShs

Charles Marias and his wife Maria, became the owners of: Neethlingshof in 1788. They extended the vineyards and built the cellar and manor house. Charles sadly passwed away in 1813, leaving Maria to complete the manor house. As a tribute to her children, she designed and placed six flowers, representing her five children and herself; on the gable of the manor house.

Honouring the delicate flowers on the gable, The Six Flowers is a blend of six white cultivars – Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc Viognier, Gewurztaminer and Weisser Riesling. Each component was vinified and matured seperately in new French Oak Barrels and then blended to create: a multi-layered, complex and very unique wine of perfect balance!
