Remarks: The 2019 growing year was difficult to manage after some unprecedented rainfall during ripening. The later red cultivars reached optimal sugars levels at a very slow pace due to temperatures dropping in March, resulting in very elegant red wines.

Upfront aromas of plums with ripe red and black berries are beautifully balanced with a hint of black pepper and floral notes. A plush, velvety mouthfeel and fine, elegant tannins give the wine appeal both on its own or with food, where it would be a great accompaniment to a roast leg of lamb or venison dishes. With careful cellaring this wine could be enjoyed now or over the next 10 years.
