This wine offfers aromas of: plums, candied cherries, truffle and blackberries. It displays excellent balance between alcohol content and acidity, good structure and soft, long-lasting tannins. Fruity and mineral on the palate, with: a persistent finish. A wine of: deeply intense red, an atribute conferred by the predominance of: Malbec (82%) and great complexity contributed by the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes (18%). Each varietal is aged seperately in: first and second use French Oak Barrels for: 18 months, to be followed by: 12 months of: aging in the bottle

Don Juan de Dios Correas was the man whi began writing the history of our winery. In addition, to being the one who, with his great spirit and vision, preceded a legacy spanning nine generations; Juan de Dios played an active role in the public sphere of the province of: Mendoza. He was elected governor in 1824 and colloaborated on the military operations of his friends General Don Jose de San Martin.
